Welcome to the first MMA Masters Division founded by MMA's Fighting and Promoting Pioneer and Legend Mark "The Cobra" Hall. This new division is designed to give older fighters, who aren't quite finished with their careers yet, a fair stage to once again comeback and sowcase their skills.

 

 

Mark Hall -vs- Ken Shamrock is the perfect match to inagurate this new division. Both fighters are well past the age of most retired fighters and the two veterans still have bad blood and unfinished business between them.

 

Ken and his entire Lion's Den of fighters unprovokingly ambushed Mark in a Casino. At the time this was the most widely covered MMA crime in the history of the sport and also turned into one of the biggest grudge matches in MMA history when a San Diego judge ordered the two fighters to settle their dispute in the Octagon. The Pride MMA fighting organization out of Japan signed contracts with both fighters and ordered them to begin training right away. The Pride promoters wanted all the litigation and they promoted the fight as a huge grudge match. Ken cancelled several times and left their boiling despute unsettled.

 

In those days the press favored Ken Shamock and they got the story twisted, which made Mark Hall the perpetrator. This could not be further from the truth. This unprovoked and very cowardly attack left Mark with a lot of emotional and financial grief. Ken Shamrock has yet to take responsibility for his criminal cowardly act and continues to run his big mouth about his side of the story. This dispute is very heated and is boiliing over, it's like a powder keg ready to explode. Mark is in great shape and the time has come for the Shamrock rat to come out of his corner and meet him in the middle of the Octagon like a man. Being they are the biggest grudge match in the history of MMA this needs to happen unless of course Ken is still scared with excuses.
